    We Make Towns Talk™

The world's first conversational digital town historian of its kind. Funded by civic pride.

    About the Trail

    Walton Heritage Trail Sign Mockup

Interactive trail sign mockup featuring the conversational digital town historian QR code.

Launching in July 2026, the Walton Heritage Trail is a 9-stop, 1.7-mile interactive walking tour that bridges the physical and digital worlds to preserve Walton, New York's rich history.

But this isn't just a map with plaques. We are building the world's first conversational digital town historian of its kind. Each historical stop features physical QR signage that directs visitors to a dedicated stop page. There, they can explore Walton Historical Society-verified information and historical photographs at their own pace, or opt for an interactive experience. Built for accessibility and deeper engagement, visitors can choose to converse with a conversational digital town historian that literally talks to them, answering questions and sharing the deep history of the spot they are standing on.

    Heritage Trail

Civic Funded & Economic Stimulation: Built without a single grant, the trail is funded entirely by civic pride and local business sponsorships. To drive economic stimulation back into the community, we developed the Heritage Trail Savings system. Visitors opt-in to receive coupons from participating local sponsors. When a coupon is redeemed, the system automatically sends the visitor a review request a few hours later—creating an effortless 5-star reputation engine for small businesses, and creating a win-win for everybody.

The trail also introduces Recollections, a groundbreaking community feature. It allows locals and visitors to submit their own personal memories of the town's historical spots. Over time, this transforms the trail into a living, breathing archive of community oral history.

A Scalable Prototype: The Walton Heritage Trail serves as a pilot program. This proprietary blend of accessible historical education, community-driven storytelling, and automated small-business support is designed as a duplicatable system—ready to be scaled to towns, villages, and tourism regions nationwide.
